Google Chrome’s ‘Aw, snap!’ page is the browser’s response to anything that causes web page to crash. As such, it is unlikely that the ‘Aw, snap!’ page you’re seeing has a single cause - particularly if it seems to be only appearing sometimes.
The first thing to try, then, is to reload the affected pages. Just click the Reload button to the left of the Chrome toolbar. If that does not work, try visiting subpages of the original domain or page. If other subpages work, then the problem likely lies with the web page itself - and there is not a lot to be done about that, other than trying again later.
Beyond that, it is possible that your firewall or other security software is stepping in to prevent certain pages from being displayed. Google itself has a few ideas on this topic - read them.
The company has also published a list of applications known to cause Chrome to crash. Finally, if you have a recent version of Chrome installed, typing 'about:conflicts’ into the bar and pressing Enter will display a list of known and suspected conflicts.”
